Course Description

Tawhid Academy is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Muslims through a balanced curriculum that combines Islamic education, character building, and life skills. Our Ashbal and Youth Club Programme focuses on developing strong Islamic identity, sound knowledge, and emotional and social wellbeing for boys and girls aged 11–18

Quranقران  

 

  • To be able to read and memorise the Qur’an with correct Tajweed and Makharij
  • Study and memorise Al-Fatiha + Juz Amma

 

 

    • The whole Juz is speaking about the Day of Judgment
    • How to be closer to Allah with more love/fear
    • Be aware of the exact description of Jannah/Jahannam

 

 

 

Aqeeda عقيدة 

 

  • To be closer to Allah through studying certain topics
  • Topics supported by Qu’ran and Sunnah

 

 

    • Practical implementation for each topic
    • Activities for each lesson to enrich engagement

 

 

 

Hadith  حديث 

 

  • To be aware of the benefit of seeking knowledge
  • Illustrate the signs of loving knowledge and having beneficial knowledge
  • Compare this with being ignorant and busy with knowledge that is not beneficial

 

 

 

Azkar أذكار  

 

  • To be aware of the right Azkar and apply upon you in the right time and place

 

 

 

Akhlaq اخلاق  

 

  • To be trained on the best manners and implement them in their actions
  • To be aware of the great reward of having good and right manners
  • Learn to gain the manners of real men
  • Learn how to shape and improve your character, attitude and behaviour

 

 

 

Adaab أداب  

 

  • To be aware of the right manner and act upon them

 

 

 

Fiqh فقه  

 

  • Fiqh = means: how to (example: Fiqh Salah = how to do salah)

 

 

 

Stories of the prophets قصص الأنبياء  

 

  • To be aware of the right deeds of the prophets
  • How we should view them as role models
  • The reward and the position of the prophets
  • To appreciate the effort and sacrifice they have done to deliver Deen to us

 

 

 

Improve knowledge:

 

  • Compare between who learns and who is headless (not learning)
  • Appreciate the people of knowledge
  • How to manage the relationship with the parents and friends
  • Love to listen to the advice and appreciate the value of accepting the advice
  • Differentiate between what is beneficial and what is not
  • Avoid the fitna that is online
  • Understanding money

 

 

 

Improve the character psychologically:

 

  • Speak positively about himself and be able to achieve his goals
  • Strong self-confidence and feeling safe
  • Look after himself and hygiene
  • Discover his bad habits and being brave enough to change them
  • Take on some work at home and sharing the responsibility with parents and family
  • The importance of time (praying on time and studying well)
  • Take initiative to help others and support them even strangers
Quran & Tajweed

Quran & Tajweed

Students will begin by learning their Arabic letters in early levels with strong focus on perfecting Makharij. They will build on the basic rules and complete the Qaida, until they can read and focus on practising fluency of recitation. As students advance, they will be taught essential Tajweed rules and apply these with proficiency and fluency.
Dua

Dua

Students learn an extensive list of du’as applicable to their lives and relevant by age as they progress through the levels. Learning the meanings of the du'as gives students an appreciation for the importance and applications of these supplications and nurtures a stronger connection to their learning.
Personal Development

Personal Development

Personal development is a key part of the Tawhid Academy curriculum in which students discuss, reflect on and enhance their morals and character. Through the stories in the Qur’an and authentic Hadith (Sunnah), students can develop true Islamic manners, etiquettes, values and skills. We explore citizenship and essential communicative and interpersonal skills to ensure we are encouraging virtuous and well-rounded individuals prepared for the wider world.
Islamic Studies

Islamic Studies

Islamic Studies takes students through the ascending levels of essential and authentic Islamic knowledge exploring topicsin deeper depth as they progress. Students will cover a wide range of topics including Aqida, Fiqh, Seerah, Stories of Prophets and Personal Development. Classes will be taught through discussions, presentations, game & activities and practical lessons to ensure a deep understanding and stronger interaction with learning.
Understanding Quranic Arabic

Understanding Quranic Arabic

Tawhid Academy has an unique approach to learning the Arabic Language with primary focus on understanding the Qur’an. Students will learn through meanings of Surahs with supplementary lessons on grammar and key vocabulary to build their grasp of the language. They will explore the key concepts of each Surah and real life application for their daily lives, and link to their wider Islamic Studies.

Surah memorisation

Students will memorise surahs, beginning from Surah Nas in the earlier levels and continuing through the Qur’an with an aim of completing the Juz30 and Qur'anic Jems.
Hadith

Hadith

The students will learn a total of 40 carefully selected hadiths relevant to current times and their daily lives. Exploring the stories of the Prophet (PBUH) and the lessons from each Hadith to aid their personal development and implementing of Islamic learning.
